SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE

Interim Online Program Director, Media Arts and Animation, October 2009 – present. Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  

Responsibilities include: Manage and lead online adjunct and full-time faculty on a daily basis. Ensure faculty members are in compliance with EDMC OHE policies, educational institution policies, and accreditation standards, and that appropriate paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Investigate and resolve faculty problems requiring academic actions.  Monitor and spot-check active courses for quality assurance. Ensure faculty members have set up all classes prior to the beginning of each session in the academic quarter. Participate in the faculty evaluation process. Provide feedback concerning faculty performance and arrange for faculty mentors as needed. Provide subject/program consultation, training, and support within EDMC OHE Educational Services and other OHE functional areas. Collaborates in the curriculum development process for online MAA program and courses. Investigates and resolves student problems with appropriate OHE Educational Services staff and OHE staff. Communicates regularly and effectively on program-related issues and topics with appropriate academic leadership.  Other responsibilities as determined by the EDMC OHE Senior Director of Online Programs.
